Acts 5, 38-42 They did not stop teaching

(Acts 5, 38-42) They did not stop teaching
[38] So now I tell you, have nothing to do with these men, and let them go. For if this endeavor or this activity is of human origin, it will destroy itself. [39] But if it comes from God, you will not be able to destroy them; you may even find yourselves fighting against God." They were persuaded by him. [40] After recalling the apostles, they had them flogged, ordered them to stop speaking in the name of Jesus, and dismissed them. [41] So they left the presence of the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they had been found worthy to suffer dishonor for the sake of the name. [42] And all day long, both at the temple and in their homes, they did not stop teaching and proclaiming the Messiah, Jesus.
(CCC 680) Christ the Lord already reigns through the Church, but all the things of this world are not yet subjected to him. The triumph of Christ's kingdom will not come about without one last assault by the powers of evil. (CCC 681) On Judgment Day at the end of the world, Christ will come in glory to achieve the definitive triumph of good over evil which, like the wheat and the tares, have grown up together in the course of history. (CCC 863) The whole Church is apostolic, in that she remains, through the successors of St. Peter and the other apostles, in communion of faith and life with her origin: and in that she is "sent out" into the whole world. All members of the Church share in this mission, though in various ways. "The Christian vocation is, of its nature, a vocation to the apostolate as well." Indeed, we call an apostolate "every activity of the Mystical Body" that aims "to spread the Kingdom of Christ over all the earth" (AA 2).
